Home Visits during surgery hours can be arranged for emergencies or if a patient is unable to travel. Please contact the surgery before noon if possible to make appropriate arrangements.

•The Department of Health and Ageing has extended the access to the free cervical cancer vaccine until December 2009 provided the first shot has been received by June 30th 2009. If young women do not access the vaccine for free it will be available from 2010 at a cost of $450 for the three shots.

•For a limited time, FREE dTpa (BOOSTRIX) – whooping cough vaccine will be available for all new parents, grandparents and any other adults who will regularly care for infants less than 12 months of age - please contact the surgery to make an appointment.

Casey Medical Centre has a new webcam.
Over the following months we will be asking patients if they would like their photo to be added to their file, as additional security for their medical record.

Cancellation of appointments require at least 2 hours notice. Regrettably it has become necessary to introduce fees for appointments that are not kept of not cancelled. These fees WILL NOT attract a Medicare rebate and will need to be paid before any further appointments.

Casey Medical Centre offers Health Assessments for persons 75 years and over. The assessment takes 30-45 minutes and can be arranged through our Reception. There is no charge for the visit.

If you ring for test results or require a repeat prescription, please contact the surgery between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. Urgent prescriptions will require an appointment, otherwise please allow 24 hours notice.
