Our History
This is a brief history of Casey Medical Centre
(formerly known as High Street Medical Centre).
The practice was established in December 1978 by Dr Sam Auteri. From small beginnings in a converted six-square garage, the practice rapidly grew into a large busy one.
In 1980 a new thirty square practice was built offering emergency and day theatre facilities.
Four years later the building was more than doubled with facilities for six doctors.
On the 9th March 1999 our new state-of-the-art medical centre opened its doors for business. The official opening, attended by The Mayor of Cranbourne was on Friday May 21st 1999. We then held an open day on Saturday 22nd May 1999 to introduce our new building to the people of Cranbourne and surrounding areas.
